For some reason the last few days the little one has decided that underneath the coffee table makes the perfect little hideout.

Man, I’ve got to do something about my phone’s camera. Maybe it’s time for a new iPhone?
She loves to “earn” tickets and then choose a “prize”–and it’s very fun to see her hopping around in her excitement about winning tickets.
OK, so the pictures didn’t come out great. But it was her first fire drill.

So, something funny and frustrating at the same time happened last night. While EV was waiting for her dinner, she picked up the baby’s bag of apple bits (freeze-dried apple) and waved it over her head. Unfortunately, the bag wasn’t sealed and about 200 tiny bits of freeze-dried apple flew off into space, scattering themselves all around the dining room. And a few bits and almost all the “apple dust” in the bag went into her hair.
My girl is all about organization!
Notice how everything is carefully placed around the cut-out paper hearts?
EV’s cubbies group has done some of the neatest activities this year. Here she is with the other cubbies doing their after-story activity. The story was Jesus Calms the Storm.
All the cubbies held the edges a blue sheet and the leader put a “boat” into the middle. Then they “floofed” (EV’s term for it) the sheet to create a “storm.” It was really neat and EV loved it.
