Year-at-a-glance
Tuesday, December 29th, 2009Jen and I were talking about the year ahead, and it sounds like a busy one:
- 15th anniversary trip
- Remodeling projects (dozens of them)
- kitchen
- stairs
- dining room
- guest bath
- laundry room
All about MAME, my Suzuki M109, and other trivia
Jen and I were talking about the year ahead, and it sounds like a busy one:
I keep seeing/hearing bikes while driving around and it makes me miss riding. I can’t believe it will be another three or four weeks until I get my bike back :-( Here’s hoping that everything will work out so it takes the least possible time to get back to it.
At least with the winter weather (rainy, misty, cold) I’m not missing out on the best riding weather. Spring and fall are my optimum times, but I hate going so long without riding–even during the coldest weather.
Looks like it will be four or five weeks until I get the chrome rear rim for my bike. Which means no motorcycle for me until sometime after the first of the year.
I watched our oldest during Cubbies last night–trust was the theme of the week (Trust in the Lord was the verse). It was really cute. They had one Cubbie close their eyes and put their hands on the shoulders of another who lead them around an “obstacle course” of chairs. Then they went “across the Red Sea”
Here’s a preview of some pictures we took last week. These will wind up on the Hughes Family site soon.

Well, the ongoing motorcycle saga continues. I have the rear hub/differential that I need to get the bike fixed, but I need a replacement wheel too. Since I paid to have my wheels chromed, I’d really like to replace the ruined rear with a chrome replacement. But it may be too pricey, since I can’t seem to find just a rear in chrome–everyone selling them is selling a front/rear set.
