My Car is Still in Quincy
Still haven’t managed to go and actually get my car. Aside from the long distance and the need to rent a truck and trailer, the kids and I had bad colds earlier this week. So, I own a car that I can’t drive
New Car (80 years old)
Just bought a 1931 Model A Ford Coupe. It’s still in Quincy, CA–I’ll need to go pick it up sometime in the next week or so.

So, that didn’t work out…
Looked at the green coupe this weekend and talked to my “model A mentor” and decided not to buy it. While the mechanicals are in reasonable shape, the body had some serious issues with rust, there was a lot of bondo on the fenders, and it would have taken a lot of work to fix up. It was probably worth $8k according to my friend–but the seller was asking $10 and it needed $7-8k of work. So I passed.

Gone!
Well, today was a happy/sad day. My 2007 Suzuki M109 has been sold and is off to a new owner. I will miss riding, but am looking forward to moving on to a new vehicle adventure. Model A, here I come!
